Membership growth has slowed down somewhat but this is to be expected. What is slightly more disturbing is the lack of interaction with our members, many of whom may have felt that SIA has run its course.
In this newsletter we will try to demonstrate that we remain a very formidable force simply because of the large number of members that we have from so many different countries, and the fact that the concept of action and the fact that we as a group know how to make things happen unsettles those who regard apathy as their stock in trade. We were always mandated to make a difference and if stirring the pot is one of the ways to do that we will act accordingly.
There are some interesting developments taking place this month, many of which are quite positive, and to those who have been involved in the politics of Rail Heritage for some time it is possible that rather like the global economy we are beginning to see some green shoots…
