WN38 – What can I get for Flugel day? – by Kerry Young
29th March 2007

Terry spent his day patiently applying top coat to the wagon seat timbers. Bob the Builder was not with us, so Terry came in out of the weather and worked in the wagon.

Jimmy was away today, so Jolly Roger did the machining.

When I went back to the valve job, Mike was nowhere to be seen. On being told he was under the machine, I couldn’t believe it. Sure enough, I eventually found him there and took this to prove it. He was checking the angles of the eccentrics.

The track gang have been moving right along. Every week there’s more done.
Just across from there……………

Sir Colin was bolting up some new sleepers. Graham has a temporary track gauge in his hand.
Finally, one for our Andy, ………………..

showing the other side of the compressor engine, which I was unable to do for him earlier.
That’s it folks! Have yourselves a good week. Cheers, ‘K’.
